	18 December 2000	Syndicate 382 appoint new underwriter Hardy Underwriting Group Plc (HUG) has announced that, subject to Lloyd's approval, Adrian Walker will be appointed active underwriter of Syndicate 382 with effect from 1st January 2001. Adrian will replace Stephen Wadman who will be appointed underwriting director with specific responsibility for the review of underwriting including development of new business opportunities.
	11 June 1999	Syndicate 382 announces proposed Minority Buy-Out Hardy (Underwriting Agencies) Ltd has notified members of Syndicate 382 of its intention to terminate the standard managing agents agreements in connection with its proposal to effect a potential minority buy-out of the Syndicate. The Business Conduct Committee (BCC) has granted its conditional consent subject to approval of the proposed minority buy-out of Syndicate 382 under the Major Syndicate Transactions Byelaw.
	30 March 1999	Hardy appoints new Contingency Underwriter on Syndicate 382 Hardy (Underwriting Agencies) Ltd has appointed Paul Owen to underwrite a contingency book of largely entertainment business. He was previously employed by AIG/Lexington group writing a similar account. Net income for 1999 is expected to be between Ł2.5m and Ł4m.
